Fire And Ice by ~Akasha1:iconAkasha1:

When the angel first looked upon the boy he seemed so ordinary, so plain. She placed herself at his side and couldn’t bear to be any where else but with his arm firmly grasping her waist. Holding her there forever. She paid no mind to his blackened eyes and fiery hot breath as he took her deep into his black heart. She began to notice the wings, huge and bat like, with many tears and tatters in the delicate flesh stretching between the brittle bones. She next noticed the spikes and scales covering this once perfect teenage boy body. The talons and the horns, as he slowly could not deny to her anymore of what he was. Though the angel could now see him for what he was, her enemy, she still could not bear to be with out him, or him with out her. Even a love so forbidden can flourish when all look down upon it with frowns. His touch burned her, as his fingers lightly traced over her luscious lips, and fair cheeks. She winced but begged him to hold her closer so she could feel his warmth through her bones. His talons dug into her flesh, but to her the pain was a small price to pay to be so close to the one she loved, the one she needed. Their first kiss burned her lips and froze his. Both in pain but never wanting to pull away from their bliss. The angel knew her calling was to destroy him and his was the same to her, but neither could do it. Once thought of, both felt a pain too great inside each heart to go though with it. For both must die together, because one, can not live with out the other. So they hid from all in a dark pit, letting each day pass slow, as it was meant to. With their love growing more and more with every small second that passed. The angel’s cold breath was starting to over take the small space, starting to slowly kill the demon, who was so used to the warmth of fire. Soon, it became too cold in the pit for either creature to breath, but they refused to leave their sanctuary, for fear of being torn apart by the upper world’s hate.  So there they stayed, hidden away from all in a deep dark pit, frozen in each others arms forever.

I tend to think of angels as fiery, and devils as frozen.

But it was good.

Thanks.

To me demons are the fire because they are supposed to be from Hell, or a likeness of Hell. But, that is an interesting way to look at it.

Edward: Why don't you just tell me who wins?
Alice: I do. Excellent.

Actually when I was in Europe a while back I went to many small churches. Many almost seemed to have been there since the beginning of time.

Anyway I saw many churches, having been made around the foundation of the Catholic faith, having many symbols that we would call pagan today. In many wall paintings and ornamentation I saw the devil pictured time and time again as blue.

Curious, I asked a monk who was the caretaker for one. It would seem that he was painted blue to signify cold. God and Jesus are compared to the sun many times. The sun helps things grow and allows us to see clearly. In fact many biblical references refer to the cleansing fire of divine forces.

So by the ancient christian view, since this warmth was attributed to the Godhead then Satan must be the opposite. He must be dark, and cold. Like winter, he made life miserable for the local people.

Wow, sorry about that. I'm sure some people's eyes are bleeding now.

Lol no worries.

But to me, it makes no sense, then wouldn't the realm of Hell, kill him, because it is nothing but an endless pit of fire and magma?

I don't know. This was just something to bade boredom. I've been contemplating making it into something more, with more explanation... but it will have to wait until I have more time.
